Job Description

WGTech, a longstanding technology solutions provider, is seeking an IT Service Desk Support Analyst to join onsite in Westbrook, Maine. This early‑career role focuses on delivering frontline support to external clients, resolving hardware and software issues, and assisting with device and user account management within a managed IT services environment.

Compensation

Annual salary: USD 50,000 - 65,000.

Responsibilities

  • Offer frontline technical assistance to end users by phone, email, remote sessions, and occasional on-site visits.
  • Diagnose and resolve typical workstation, software, and network connectivity problems.
  • Help set up user accounts and adjust access in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Assist with core device management tasks including imaging, deployment, and software installations.
  • Document configurations and record findings during troubleshooting and on-site activities.
  • Identify issues beyond the initial request and escalate or document as needed.
  • Collaborate with teammates and utilize internal resources when necessary.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2+ years of experience supporting end‑users in a service desk, help desk, or MSP environment.
  • Hands‑on experience installing, deploying, and configuring Windows desktop systems.
  • Foundational knowledge of Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and password management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, including email accounts and basic troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of fundamental networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to document work clearly and thoroughly.
  • Comfort in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
  • Exposure to Entra ID (Azure AD) and/or Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with OS imaging or deployment tools.
  • Basic understanding of file permissions or Group Policy.
  • Valid driver's license.
