Job Description

American National Diversified, Inc. invites you to join their onsite IT team as an IT Support Technician in Caddo Mills, TX. This on-site role focuses on practical, front-line technology support across the organization, handling help desk requests, desktop and hardware upkeep, and routine maintenance. The position offers a compensation range of $40,000 to $60,000 per year, plus a benefits package that includes dental, health, life, and vision insurance, all within a collaborative, service-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee technology requests via phone, email, and in person, ensuring timely assistance.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Support standard business applications, including Google Workspace, email, and collaboration tools.
  • Log, track, and follow up on requests, and escalate complex or infrastructure-level issues when needed.
  • Assist with software installation, configuration, and basic training for staff.
  • Set up, image, and deploy new desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
  • Perform hardware repairs, upgrades, and replacements, coordinating warranty service as required.
  • Maintain and support printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Support remote desktop connectivity and assist remote users.
  • Manage hardware and software lifecycles, including upgrades, maintenance, and end-of-life planning.
  • Create, modify, and disable user accounts and access under leadership direction for onboarding, role changes, and departures.
  • Prepare workstations, phones, and credentials for new hires and reclaim equipment from departing staff.
  • Support administration of shared drives, folders, and standard permissions.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness by educating staff on security best practices and organizational policies.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, software updates, and patching on end-user devices.
  • Assist with routine backup verification and support recovery tasks as directed.
  • Monitor and maintain the phone system and coordinate service on connectivity issues.
  • Provide support for Spireon telematics units and other field hardware, including installation, replacement, tracking, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software licenses, peripherals, and accessories; track assignments and warranties, recommending replacements as needed.
  • Keep support documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles current.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors and support partners to resolve issues and maintain service reliability.
  • Manage vendor relationships, licensing, warranties, and support agreements.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of hands-on IT support, help desk, or desktop support experience.
  • Working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, common business applications, and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills paired with a customer-service mindset.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to respond to occasional support needs outside normal business hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
