Part-time IT Support Technician

Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico is hiring a Part-time IT Support Technician to support day-to-day technology needs on-site in Los Alamos, NM. This role helps keep clinic operations running smoothly through reliable troubleshooting and basic network support. You will report to and work alongside the IT Supervisor, with a position designed around a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and desk phones
• Support staff with routine software issues, password resets, and basic troubleshooting for the Electronic Medical Record system
• Maintain basic office connectivity
• Assist with IT provisioning for new hires, including setting up accounts, emails, and workstations, and managing access for departing staff
• Ensure all devices follow healthcare privacy regulations
• Keep an organized inventory of IT assets

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of IT support experience
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong focus on privacy and adherence to HIPAA guidelines
• Prior experience in a medical environment is preferred, but not required
