Security Officer Full Time Service Desk

In this Full Time Security Officer Service Desk role in Fremont, CA (onsite), you will support a dynamic automotive location while serving clients across the site. What you’ll do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Monitor assigned areas and respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Perform regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary across the location.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry procedures based on site-specific requirements.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and shift activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Schedule and pay

• Pay rate: $22.52 / Hour (USD 22 - 22 per hourly)
• Job schedule: Day shift
• Hours: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM; Tue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM; Wed 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM; Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM; Sun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What you bring

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Minimum age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Ability to meet employment conditions including a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Ability to complete a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment and are subject to state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
