Job Description

ID Logistics offers a focused, benefits-forward opportunity in West Jordan, UT. This onsite, night-shift role supports computer systems and networks within a 3PL warehouse, with an emphasis on troubleshooting to optimize operational performance. The position carries a salary range of USD 65,000 to 73,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze warehouse operational equipment and systems.
  • Develop strategies for short- and long-term goals to meet or exceed warehouse operations expectations.
  • Support PowerShell scripting and automation efforts.
  • Serve as the liaison between technical operations and production operations.
  • Package software installations across multiple computers simultaneously.
  • Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Troubleshoot to diagnose and resolve problems.
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripherals (routers, printers, etc.).
  • Inspect computer hardware such as HDDs, mice, keyboards, and related components to verify functionality.
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on operating new software and equipment.
  • Maintain records and logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
  • Identify shortages of computer or network equipment and place orders as needed.
  • Adhere to corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report any noncompliance observed.
  • Follow all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and relevant work experience in lieu of an advanced degree.
  • 3+ years of end-user support experience.
  • 1+ year of IT support experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and the Microsoft Server product line.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPN technologies.
  • Working knowledge of data backup, virus protection, and network system monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage technical operations.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and internet security principles.
  • Ability to participate in on-call support within a 24/7 operational environment.
