Helpdesk Technician

Urban Manufacturing Inc is hiring a customer-focused IT Helpdesk Technician onsite in Pewaukee, WI to support day-to-day technology needs across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, courteous Tier-1 and Tier-2 technical support via phone, email, and in person
• Log, prioritize, and work through helpdesk tickets while keeping users updated on progress and outcomes
• Configure, set up, and deploy desktop and laptop hardware, peripherals, and software for new and existing staff
• Support key environments including Windows, Microsoft 365, and core business applications
• Assist with server and network administration, basic program customization, and routine system updates and patching
• Maintain accurate inventory records for computer hardware and peripherals, including equipment assignments and locations
• Provide guidance and user enablement for software applications and best practices
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve more complex technical issues

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience)
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in desktop/PC support, hardware/software deployment, and helpdesk ticket management
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
• Experience with electronic document management/scanning systems, peripheral setup, basic network/server administration, and hardware troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills

• USD 45,000 - 65,000 per year
