Technical Support / IT Administrator
Job Description
Technical Support / IT Administrator role responsible for internal IT and cloud operations, customer deployments, and website support, onsite in Las Vegas.
Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing operation of internal VMware-based servers, storage, backup routines, and system monitoring
- Oversee network devices including routers, switches, VPNs, and firewall configurations
- Apply and uphold security best practices across systems and processes
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server environments used by internal teams
- Coordinate endpoint management, access controls, and internal IT support as required
- Oversee Azure Government subscriptions, networking, and identity/access controls
- Support cloud operations with monitoring, cost management, patch deployment, and backups
- Contribute to designing and maintaining robust environments for customer deployments
- Ensure comprehensive logging, auditing, and access governance
- Assist onboarding and deployment for new customer agencies, both cloud and on premises
- Troubleshoot technical issues for customers and internal teams
- Coordinate with engineering teams (C/C++/Go/Python/C#) as needed for escalations
- Document deployment procedures, runbooks, and support workflows
- Maintain and support company websites, including web apps and WordPress sites
- Manage DNS, SSL certificates, hosting settings, uptime monitoring, and routine updates/plugins
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or technical support roles
- Solid grasp of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, DNS
- Experience configuring and administering firewalls and security controls
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Experience with virtualization (VMware), Windows Server administration, and patch management processes
- Intermediate Microsoft SQL Server administration experience
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and comfort in assisting external customers
- Excellent documentation and communication practices
