Job Description
QA1 Precision Products seeks a Technical Support and Sales Representative in Lakeville, Minnesota to deliver technical support, process orders, and build strong customer relationships while promoting QA1 products across motorsports and industrial markets.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and product information on vehicle suspension systems and QA1 offerings to end users and dealers via phone and email.
- Process orders through multiple channels, including phone, email, fax, and electronic data interchange.
- Share product cross-reference details, current pricing, and delivery information with customers.
- Coordinate with the production team to obtain ETA updates and status on out-of-stock items.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of QA1 products and services as well as the automotive industry.
- Handle end-user and dealer inquiries or complaints in a professional and diplomatic manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, contacts, orders, and RMAs in the company ERP system.
- Identify new opportunities and qualify them before passing them to account managers.
- Travel to events and trade shows as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Periodically attend and represent QA1 at trade shows, company events, and customer visits to engage stakeholders and promote products.
- Undertake additional duties that contribute to QA1’s success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education in a technical specialty is preferred.
- 4+ years of related experience and/or training in vehicle suspension systems; experience in automotive parts retailers, dealerships, or similar settings is encouraged; QA1 product enthusiasts with self-directed knowledge are welcome.
- Knowledge of Mopar, Auto-Cross, and Street Truck applications is a plus.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for QA1, Detroit Speed & Engineering, and SpeedTech Performance products.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication with internal and external parties in a professional manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, innovative approach to challenges.
- Proactive, positive, and collaborative attitude.
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening) and ability to build rapport internally and externally.
- Customer-centric mindset and attention to detail.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and the ability to quickly learn other Microsoft applications and QA1’s ERP system (Syteline).
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and align with QA1’s values.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

The Critical Skills and Experience You’ll Need
