Technical Support Specialist
Job Description
Join Chadwell Supply in a hybrid role supporting everyday IT needs for employees across computer and mobile devices. You will help keep work running smoothly by maintaining desktops, printers, servers, and IP phone and cell phone environments, while handling service desk requests and onboarding support. Location: Phoenix, AZ (hybrid)
Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm (hybrid with 2 days at home and 3 days in the office)
Pay: USD 20 - 24 per hour (based on experience)
What you’ll do
- Maintain the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving issues, and installing hardware and software solutions.
- Provide administration and internal support for company PCs, printers, servers, IP phones, cell phones, and related equipment.
- Handle procurement tasks, end user support, backup monitoring, license tracking, and ongoing maintenance for PCs, printers, and servers.
- Monitor and respond to requests through the IT Service Desk, processing tickets in a first-in first-out flow based on priority.
- Update and document Service Desk tickets and close tickets within the assigned SLA.
- Modify local workstation configurations, utilities, and software default settings as needed.
- Provide remote and in-person support for desktops, laptops, printers, iPhones, iPads, and other devices.
- Support users with Microsoft Office, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and other software questions.
- Assist with user onboarding and off-boarding, including documenting internal procedures.
- Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.
- Maintain inventory for equipment, software, and software licenses.
- Escalate issues to Tier 3 teams when required.
- Deploy standard PC setups for new employees using approved hardware, images, and software, including Active Directory group assignments.
- Provide first level support of company applications and perform timely hardware and software upgrades.
What you bring
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Aptitude for learning new software programs (previous Tech experience preferred).
