Technical Support Specialist

Toole Design is building a Silver Spring, MD team where technical support helps people stay productive. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will help keep day-to-day IT running smoothly, support onboarding, and troubleshoot issues that keep teams connected. This is a hybrid role with a flexible schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely. Compensation includes an annual salary range of USD 57,000 to 67,000.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day IT needs for the team
• Onboard new team members and help set them up for success
• Ensure systems run smoothly and remain reliable
• Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines
• Take ownership of solutions that keep teams productive and connected
• Learn new technologies as they come up in daily support and IT initiatives
• Contribute to IT initiatives

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in an IT helpdesk environment providing tier 1 customer service to end users (CompTIA A+ preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (preferred)
• Experience working in a Windows-based environment
• Basic understanding of networking, VPNs, and firewalls
• Experience performing minor hardware repairs and upgrades
• Audio/Visual experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
