Technical Support Specialist - Financials

This role supports customers who rely on ServiceTitan for essential financial workflows. You will work remotely as a Technical Support Specialist focused on the Financials pillar, helping with product usage and troubleshooting accounting integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer questions and support requests across phone, chat, email, and screen-sharing sessions.
• Develop strong expertise in ServiceTitan financial modules, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and job costing, to deliver accurate guidance and practical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving accounting integrations, including QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and other connected platforms.
• Assist customers with accounting best practices inside the product, including chart of accounts setup, financial reporting, and month-end closing procedures.
• Use support tools and thorough testing to de-escalate and prevent unnecessary escalations when handling complex financial workflow cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in technical support or an accounting-related role.
• Strong problem-solving skills with effective critical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including empathy and patience, with the ability to explain financial and technical topics clearly.
• Ability to remain level-headed and perform in a feedback-oriented, fast-changing environment.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
• Customer-focused mindset, willingness to learn, and a proactive, can-do approach.
• Solid understanding of core accounting concepts, such as debits and credits, accrual versus cash basis, general ledger, P&L, and balance sheets.
• Highly preferred: hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks (Desktop or Online), Sage, or similar systems.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools, including Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, for analysis and reporting.
• Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
• Knowledge of the home or commercial service industry is a plus.
• Comfort working remotely at a desk (sitting or standing) for 6 to 8 hours at a time.
