Job Description

Technical Support Tech I position at INSPYR Solutions is an onsite contract role in Arlington, VA, offering USD 24 per hour for overnight end-user support under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to end users by phone, email, and in-person requests
  • Identify, research, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and system issues
  • Record, track, and monitor reported problems to ensure timely resolution
  • Escalate unresolved issues following defined guidelines
  • Maintain precise records of support requests and their solutions
  • Adhere to predefined instructions, procedures, and best practices
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with users and colleagues

Requirements

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in technical support or a related role
  • Foundational knowledge of standard IT support concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under direct supervision
  • Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or experience
  • Certifications
  • Data center experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with common operating systems, applications, and hardware
  • Strong organizational and documentation capabilities
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
  • Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
