Job Description

What you get with this onsite role in Maitland, FL includes a six month contract at an hourly rate of USD 22 to 24, plus benefits such as dental, health, and vision insurance. You will join a collaborative environment that follows ITIL aligned processes and focuses on desktop and endpoint support across Windows and Mac, with opportunities to guide users, troubleshoot remotely, and document solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user IT issues across hardware, software, and networking
  • Image equipment in line with COE standards
  • Guide users through installing applications and peripheral devices
  • Provide clear, step-by-step instructions to users
  • Perform remote troubleshooting to resolve problems
  • Document technical issues and resolutions in logs
  • Ask targeted questions to diagnose root causes
  • Escalate unresolved items to the next level of support
  • Follow up with users to confirm systems are functional
  • Capture and report customer feedback and potential product requests
  • Contribute to technical documentation and manuals
  • Maintain health and compliance of endpoints and IT infrastructure
  • Generate purchase requests for new requirements
  • Create waybills to ship IT equipment
  • Ensure alignment with applicable company procedures and policies

Requirements

  • Proficient spoken and written English
  • 5+ years of experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or Technical Support Specialist or similar
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac OS environments
  • Working knowledge of office automation products and peripherals such as printers and scanners
  • Knowledge of networking, endpoint security practices, and antivirus software
  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting with clear instructions
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage Service Desk tasks
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Experience managing client audit requirements with timely evidence
  • Working understanding of the ITIL framework
  • Energetic, responsible, self-motivated, and able to work in a team
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science preferred
  • Willingness to travel to different offices if required
  • Having MCSA/MCSE/CCNA is a plus
