Job Description

Winners Computers is seeking a Tier II IT Technician to deliver technical support for client environments in a managed services setting. The role combines remote troubleshooting with onsite assistance in Minster, OH, with a focus on workstation support and strong networking and server capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve escalated hardware, software, and network incidents using both remote and onsite approaches.
  • Provide remote support using support tools and RMM platforms.
  • Support and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and file and permission structures.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network security and connectivity components, including firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and VPNs.
  • Deploy, image, and configure workstations, laptops, and related hardware.
  • Assist with server builds, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and outcomes clearly while following internal processes.
  • Support client onboarding activities, including network assessments and maintaining environment documentation.
  • Mentor and provide technical support to Tier I technicians as escalations require.
  • Assist with staging, prepping, and organizing equipment for project rollouts.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of IT support experience; MSP experience is preferred.
  • Strong networking fundamentals knowledge, including VLANs, routing, firewalls, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Azure AD/Entra, and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with an emphasis on identifying root cause.
  • Professional communication skills with clients.
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ are required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to client sites.

Preferred Certifications

  • Additional certifications are strongly preferred, such as Server+, Microsoft 365, Azure, or an equivalent credential.
