Asurion is seeking a part-time In-Home Sales & Tech Support specialist to serve customers in Blue Ash, Ohio, delivering the Serve, Solve, Sell experience directly in clientsâ homes. This role blends hands-on tech assistance with sales, backed by paid training, evening hours, and a compensation structure that includes base pay, commissions, mileage reimbursement, and a phone stipend. Youâll travel to customer residences to resolve tech issues and help plan for future technology needs.
In this on-site field position, you will engage customers where they are, whether at home or other locations, and contribute to meeting and exceeding sales targets through scheduled interactions. The role emphasizes attentive service, practical tech guidance, and the ability to tailor solutions using Asurionâs growing product lineup.
Responsibilities
- Represent the Serve, Solve, Sell⢠approach in the field to assist customers on site.
- Complete paid training to prepare for independent field work.
- Meet customers in their homes or other locations with pre-scheduled visits aimed at achieving sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every interaction, prioritizing the customerâs needs.
- Apply technical knowledge to address issues and provide clear, workable solutions.
- Ensure customers leave with a resolution that works and a product aligned with their future tech needs.
- Utilize Asurionâs expanding product range to offer tailored solutions.
- Listen actively to identify customer needs and position products accordingly.
- Employ strong negotiation and communication skills to close appropriate sales.
Requirements
- Part-time schedule: five evenings per week, 4:05 pm to 9:00 pm.
- On-site field role requiring daily travel to customer residences; not remote.
- Valid driverâs license and a satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
- Personal vehicle (no motorcycles); travel up to 120 miles one-way.
- Flexible 5-day workweek including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Personal cellphone for work communications.
- Comfortable around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
