In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part Time)
Job Description
Part-time in-home field sales and tech support role in Fresno, CA (onsite) requiring daily travel, with paid training and a Serve/Solve/Sell approach; includes base pay, mileage, phone stipend, and commissions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the frontline field sales and tech support representative, engaging customers at their home, office, or other on-site locations using the Serve, Solve, Sell framework, with pre-scheduled interactions and a focus on hitting or exceeding sales targets while delivering outstanding service.
- Participate in paid training to prepare for independent field work.
- Learn products and gain hands-on sales experience while building communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, reinforced by ongoing coaching and mentorship.
- In the field, apply the Serve, Solve, Sell model by serving customers, resolving tech issues, and selling tailored solutions with strong negotiation and communication abilities.
Requirements
- Able to operate in a target-driven sales environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and at least one year of driving experience.
- Proof of valid car insurance required (Manhattan area excluded).
- Personal vehicle required (no motorcycles); customer appointments occur around the inventory warehouse, with up to 120 miles one-way travel.
- Five-day, varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays to align with customer availability.
- Personal cellphone required for on-the-go communication.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented and persuasive communicator.
- Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad range of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
- Outgoing personality comfortable with frequent human interaction.
- Note: Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.
Benefits
- Guaranteed base hourly pay for all hours worked with bi-weekly payroll; earned wages may be accessed early.
- Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
- Mileage reimbursement based on IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
- Monthly phone stipend of $35.
- Three weeks of paid training.
