Job Description

Turn5, Inc. is expanding its onsite IT support presence in Paoli, Pennsylvania, with a Desktop Support Specialist who will serve as the first point of contact for hardware and software help for internal users. This role combines hands-on ticket resolution, device provisioning, and the creation of training guides and user sessions, with year-one duties centered on ticket management, equipment setup, and hardware inventory. Occasional local travel to other sites is required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the Help Desk ticketing system and provide technical assistance for issues related to computers, software, and other IT-managed systems
  • Respond to user questions via chat, email, support ticket, phone, or in person; ask questions to assess scope and nature of the issue; resolve or escalate as needed
  • Train users as needed using training manuals as a base
  • Set up computers, phones, peripherals, and other devices
  • Install, add, move, or change telephone extensions and related equipment
  • Respond to requests for loaner equipment and maintain hardware and inventory for check-in/check-out
  • Occasional local travel to other sites with reliable transportation

Requirements

  • 12 months of IT end-user support experience
  • Computer proficient
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop and Server OS
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365
  • PC deployment experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Oral and written communication, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
