Desktop Support Specialist

Blupace is hiring a Desktop Support Specialist for an onsite contract role in San Augustine, TX 75972. If you enjoy helping end users resolve day-to-day IT issues quickly, this Level 1 position focuses on hands-on troubleshooting and steady incident follow-through. The pay range is $21.00 to $24.00 per hour for a 1 Month Contract, with a typical focus on Windows desktop environments, printers, and key Microsoft services.

What you’ll do

You will provide Level 1 technical support to end users by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems. Support covers common workplace device and application issues, including Windows desktop and laptop troubleshooting and printer support, along with assistance related to Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.

• Deliver support using phone, email, and ticketing tools
• Troubleshoot Windows, desktops, laptops, printers, and applications
• Assist with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory tasks, including password and access issues
• Install and configure hardware, software, and peripherals
• Document, resolve, and track tickets within SLA, escalating more complex issues as needed

What you bring

• 1–3 years of desktop or technical support experience
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking
• Strong troubleshooting skills paired with clear, professional communication
• CompTIA A+ or an equivalent certification is a plus
