End User Support Technician

End User Support Technician based in Two Harbors, MN, providing onsite and remote IT support across a manufacturing environment. The role troubleshoots hardware, software, and network issues and ensures reliable IT operations across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote assistance for hardware, software, and network issues across the manufacturing environment, including issue triage and resolution.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and AV equipment to support daily operations.
• Assist with network infrastructure tasks including cabling, switches, and connectivity to ensure stable communication across facilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and approved vendors to analyze and resolve technical problems and coordinate next steps.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, update ticketing systems, and keep accurate system records for audits and knowledge sharing.
• Support plant operations by maintaining systems such as barcode scanners, VoIP phones, and wireless networks critical to production.
• Train end users, provide general IT guidance, and promote best practices for security and efficiency.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of desktop or end-user support experience in a professional setting.
• Strong customer-facing skills and clear communication, with the ability to manage expectations.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows PCs, and general desktop environments.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and manage client expectations effectively.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across multiple systems.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and following safety protocols.
