Job Description

Seitel Systems is seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide in-office IT support for a Seattle-area CPA firm. The role is full-time and on-site, delivering service desk support to internal staff. Local Puget Sound candidates only.

Overview

The client is a growing 50-person CPA practice located in the Seattle–Bellevue corridor. The successful candidate will address IT needs from a service desk perspective, working onsite to support professionals across the firm. Seitel Systems is facilitating this search and notes competitive compensation and benefits for local candidates.

Location

Seattle, Washington, onsite at the firm's office in the Puget Sound region. Local residents are required.

Salary

Hourly compensation range: USD 28 - 31 per hour.

Experience

Two to four years of hands-on technical experience, or an educational equivalent, with at least two years of hands-on desktop support experience.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of hands-on technical experience (or educational equivalent) with a desire to advance professionally.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Solid work ethic and reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Effective time management and ability to multitask.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Resourceful in using available tools and sources to resolve issues.
  • Minimum two years of hands-on technical experience.
  • Desktop support experience with PCs.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows).
  • Proficiency with Office 365.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server.
  • Experience with hosted cloud solutions (Azure or AWS).
  • Experience with antivirus solutions.
  • Experience with backup systems.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and/or Entra.
