Help Desk Technician - TS/SCI W/ Polygraph
Job Description
In Washington, DC, this on-site Help Desk Technician role supports end-user technology across network, desktop, and systems environments within a government-focused IT organization. The position demands US citizenship, a TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, and Security+ CE certification, paired with an AA or AS degree and at least four years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software.
- Resolve technical problems and respond to queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and external customers' computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.
- Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze problems utilizing historical database records.
- Route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists when needed.
- Maintain and update records and tracking databases; alert management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.
Requirements
- Help Desk Technician IV - AA/AS and 5+ years of experience
- Years of experience can count in place of education and education can count in place of years of experience in some cases.
- Security+, CE - Comptia Security+ - Comptia Security+
- PWS 9.1 ( ITIL, A+, HDI-CSR, MS 365)
- TS/SCI and CI Polygraph Required; US Citizenship Required
- 4+ years of related experience

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $33.52 - $45.34. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
