In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part Time)

• Base hourly pay guaranteed for all hours worked, paid bi-weekly; early access to earned pay where available
• Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly
• Mileage reimbursement based on IRS guidelines, paid weekly
• 35 USD monthly phone stipend
• Three weeks of paid training focused on helping you succeed

Responsibilities

• Attend paid training to prepare for independent work in the field
• Learn Asurion’s products and gain hands-on sales experience while building communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Receive ongoing coaching and mentoring to support growth and confidence in tech and sales
• Meet customers in their homes, in offices, or wherever they are scheduled to connect
• Diameter of customer interactions is planned in advance to help you meet and exceed sales targets
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout every interaction
• Address and resolve tech issues with clear, understandable solutions for customers of all knowledge levels
• Ensure customers leave satisfied with a resolution that works and a product meeting future tech needs
• Leverage Asurion’s growing product range to offer tailored solutions
• Listen actively to identify needs and position products accordingly
• Apply strong negotiation and communication skills to guide relevant, successful sales

Requirements

• Comfortable in a sales environment with set targets
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience
• Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan exclusions apply)
• Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles); travel within neighborhoods and cities around the inventory warehouse, up to 120 miles one-way
• Five-day work week with varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job
• Comfortable working around household pets
• Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills
• Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad set of skills for multiple career paths
• Naturally outgoing and energized by human interaction
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Part-time schedule

• Most roles follow a five-day schedule from roughly 4:05 PM to 9:00 PM; end times vary by customer needs
• In select markets, a flexible 4+ day option may exist, requiring at least 25 hours weekly across 4 days and at least one weekend day; shifts run between 12:05 PM and 9:00 PM, with possible start times as late as 4:00 PM
• If the flexible option is available, you may choose between the standard and flexible schedules
