Job Description

This part-time, onsite role with Asurion Insurance Services in San Francisco, CA combines in-home field sales with tech support. The position follows the Serve, Solve, Sell framework, includes paid training, and offers a flexible schedule to accommodate customer appointments and field demands.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Serve, Solve, Sell approach on the front lines, assisting customers effectively.
  • Complete paid training to prepare for independent field work.
  • Engage with customers in their homes, offices, or other locations; pre-schedule interactions to pursue and exceed sales targets while delivering outstanding service.
  • Apply technical knowledge to resolve customers' issues, explain solutions clearly to all levels of tech proficiency, and ensure a durable resolution and relevant product alignment.
  • Leverage Asurion’s product portfolio to tailor recommendations, listen to customer needs, and position offerings to meet those needs; use negotiation and communication skills to finalize sales.
  • Build product knowledge and sales experience with ongoing coaching and mentorship to support growth and confidence in technology.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
  • Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (note: Manhattan area excluded).
  • Personal vehicle (not a motorcycle) with customer appointments in neighborhoods and cities around the inventory warehouse; travel up to 120 miles one-way.
  • Willingness to work a varied five-day schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Personal cellphone for on-the-job communications.
  • Comfort with working around household pets.
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented and persuasive communication abilities.
  • Open-minded attitude and enthusiasm for learning a broad set of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
  • Naturally outgoing with comfort in frequent human interaction.
  • Schedule availability is essential; review the posted schedule details prior to applying.
  • Work hours may vary with business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.
  • Comfortable operating in a sales environment with set targets.

  • Base hourly rate is guaranteed for all hours worked, with bi-weekly pay; earned pay may be accessed early.
