Job Description

Asurion Insurance Services offers a part-time, in-home Field Sales Representative role based in Springfield, Missouri. This onsite position requires daily travel to customer residences and combines paid training with a Serve-Solve-Sell approach. Expect a base hourly wage plus commissions and stipends, supported by ongoing coaching to help you stay confident and tech-savvy.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers on the front lines using the Serve, Solve, Sell approach to guide interactions.
  • Complete paid training to prepare you to work independently in the field.
  • Learn product details and gain hands-on sales experience while developing communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with ongoing coaching to support growth.
  • Serve: Meet customers in-home, in-office, or wherever they are; pre-schedule interactions; strive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Serve: Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every interaction, always prioritizing the customer.
  • Solve: Apply expertise to address and resolve tech issues with clear, understandable solutions.
  • Solve: Ensure customers leave with a workable resolution and a product that supports their future tech needs.
  • Sell: Leverage Asurion’s growing product range to tailor solutions for customers.
  • Sell: Listen actively to identify customer needs and position products accordingly.
  • Sell: Use strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and close the sale.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
  • A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
  • Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
  • A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Customer service appointments occur in neighborhoods and cities surrounding your inventory warehouse, with a maximum one-way travel distance of 120 miles.
  • Willingness to work a varied 5-day week schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A personal cellphone to stay connected on the job.
  • Comfort with working around household pets.
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Open-minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
  • Naturally outgoing and comfortable with human interaction.
  • Note: Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; a standard schedule is provided, but flexibility may be required.
