Job Description
What you get with this on-site contract in Morristown, NJ is the chance to contribute to Accenture Flex by deploying Windows updates via Ivanti LANDesk, patching browsers, and supporting vulnerability remediation to keep endpoints secure. The role offers a competitive hourly range of USD 45 to 48 and emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and a security‑focused IT operations culture.
Responsibilities
- Deploy monthly Microsoft Windows 10/11 security and quality updates using Ivanti LANDesk.
- Package, schedule, and deploy Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browser updates.
- Monitor patch deployment progress and remediate failed installations.
- Perform pre-deployment testing and post-deployment validation to ensure patch success and system stability.
- Generate compliance and patch status reports for management and security teams.
- Troubleshoot patching issues and coordinate with endpoint, security, and infrastructure teams as needed.
- Maintain patching schedules, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Ensure endpoint patch compliance meets organizational security standards and audit requirements.
- Support vulnerability remediation efforts by deploying critical and emergency patches when required.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Ivanti LANDesk Endpoint Management.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- High School Diploma or GED.
