IT Desktop Support Analyst
Job Description
The IT Desktop Support Analyst provides hands-on client-side IT support at a Northlake, TX manufacturing facility. This role serves as a key contact for IT issues, partners with IT and business teams, and focuses on keeping plant systems and day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Role Location and Schedule
- Employment type: Full time
- Work model: Onsite
- Location: Carrollton, TX (onsite), with the manufacturing facility/site referenced in the role description as Northlake, TX
- Travel: Travel is required to other sites on occasion
Compensation
- Annual salary range: USD 63,500 - 95,300
- Additional compensation (where applicable): For certain roles, eligibility may include annual discretionary merit compensation, bonus, and equity pay
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity
- Support plant systems, including collaboration with external vendors when required
- Manage site-level incidents and act as an escalation point for complex issues
- Ensure cybersecurity compliance through system updates, patching, and ongoing maintenance
- Configure and deploy equipment for new hires and onboarding activities
- Maintain accurate hardware inventory and manage equipment lifecycle
- Collaborate with IT and business partners to improve processes and system performance
- Document systems, processes, and resolutions to support ongoing operations
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, with interaction across both office settings and the plant floor.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of six years of broad-based computer and network support in a Microsoft environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft workstation operating systems
- Experience supporting Windows-based domains (W2K/W2K3 or newer environments)
- Strong knowledge of current technology trends and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment
- Communication and service: Strong communication and customer service skills
