Job Description

The IT Desktop Support Analyst provides hands-on client-side IT support at a Northlake, TX manufacturing facility. This role serves as a key contact for IT issues, partners with IT and business teams, and focuses on keeping plant systems and day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Role Location and Schedule

  • Employment type: Full time
  • Work model: Onsite
  • Location: Carrollton, TX (onsite), with the manufacturing facility/site referenced in the role description as Northlake, TX
  • Travel: Travel is required to other sites on occasion

Compensation

  • Annual salary range: USD 63,500 - 95,300
  • Additional compensation (where applicable): For certain roles, eligibility may include annual discretionary merit compensation, bonus, and equity pay

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity
  • Support plant systems, including collaboration with external vendors when required
  • Manage site-level incidents and act as an escalation point for complex issues
  • Ensure cybersecurity compliance through system updates, patching, and ongoing maintenance
  • Configure and deploy equipment for new hires and onboarding activities
  • Maintain accurate hardware inventory and manage equipment lifecycle
  • Collaborate with IT and business partners to improve processes and system performance
  • Document systems, processes, and resolutions to support ongoing operations

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, with interaction across both office settings and the plant floor.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of six years of broad-based computer and network support in a Microsoft environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft workstation operating systems
  • Experience supporting Windows-based domains (W2K/W2K3 or newer environments)
  • Strong knowledge of current technology trends and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Communication and service: Strong communication and customer service skills
