Job Description
Based in Oklahoma City and working on site, this IT Desktop Support Technician role supports CACI’s end-user technology and keeps desktop environments operating smoothly. You will resolve hardware and software issues, configure devices, and provide ongoing support for Office 365, VDI, and Active Directory while upholding security standards and thorough documentation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver desktop assistance to CACI staff via remote-control tools to resolve issues efficiently.
- Re-image, configure, install, and support desktop computers, laptops, printers, monitors, and other peripherals for both local and remote users.
- Protect data during every support interaction and transaction.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems using remote-control capabilities.
- Support Microsoft Office 365, VDI, and Active Directory services.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external IT support teams.
- Coordinate and document shipments of laptops and peripherals.
- Maintain customer service standards in phone and email communications while complying with information security policies.
- Document support procedures clearly and log progress in the incident management system.
- Follow established service level agreements (SLA).
Requirements
- Up to one year of experience as a Tier 2 IT Support Technician addressing hardware and software problems.
- Associate degree or vocational-technical training in information technology or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop alternative solutions.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and operate under general supervision.
- Experience creating knowledge base articles.
- Commitment to quality and strong multitasking abilities.
- Experience configuring and administering Microsoft Office 365; familiarity with Azure AD is a plus, or experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, and Office 365.
- Knowledge of mobile devices and network technologies including LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, and TCP/IP.
- Hardware troubleshooting experience (Dell) in a Windows environment.
- Attention to detail and strong writing skills.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds; extensive walking may be required.
- Established, productive individual contributor capable of working under general supervision.
