IT Help Desk Technician
Job Description
Stealth Broadband, LLC provides managed broadband and Wi-Fi services to customers across multiple locations, supported by a hands-on IT Help Desk Technician team. This onsite role in Norfolk, Nebraska supports Stealth Broadband and related companies, helping deliver reliable business Internet, strong Wi-Fi performance, and responsive Tier 2 assistance.
Responsibilities
- Provision and configure customer premise equipment including Fiber ONT’s, Fixed Wireless CPE’s, and SOHO routers.
- Assist with configuration of 1/10Gigabit switches and routers.
- Assist with configuration of 5GHz / 6GHz / 11 GHz / 60 GHz wireless backhaul radios.
- Troubleshoot and repair Wi-Fi signal issues, including responding to trouble reports and resolving customer problems.
- Install and terminate Ethernet and Coaxial cabling in multi-tenant dwellings.
- Assist with video surveillance system installations, including testing and pointing cameras.
- Correct and repair business Internet service issues.
- Provide Tier 2 Support for all broadband services, including after-hours on-call Tier 2 coverage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Ability to report during business hours to the office in Norfolk, Nebraska.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- On-call availability of no more than 2 weeks out of every 6 weeks.
- Prior installation and repair, IT or networking experience.

Preferred qualifications
- An associate degree or equivalent experience in Networking, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years’ experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
- 2+ years’ experience on current network operating systems
Compensation and benefits
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour. This is a Full-time, Permanent onsite position.
