IT Support (Help Desk) Partner

Provide technical IT support for Captain D's restaurant locations in Nashville, TN, on a hybrid in-office schedule after training, troubleshooting POS and related systems, testing hardware, and assisting staff with technology.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot POS ecosystems across registers, kitchen display units, back office devices, tablets, and multimedia training systems.
• Analyze recurring system issues in restaurants and document trends.
• Collaborate with POS support engineers to optimize software and hardware solutions.
• Test new hardware before deployment.
• Use a range of tools from Office applications to scripting and database queries to diagnose problems.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and required.
• Engage regularly with restaurant professionals to troubleshoot and educate as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including technical documentation.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users.
• Basic knowledge of the Windows operating system.
• Education: High School diploma.
