IT Tech Support

Oak View Group is hiring a part-time Seasonal IT Tech Support professional in Orlando, FL (onsite) to support high-traffic Front Yard operations during major holiday events. The role focuses on keeping POS, network infrastructure, and core software applications running reliably while providing on-site troubleshooting and updates for F&B teams.

Hourly pay: $30.00 - $35.00. Seasonal dates: November 15, 2026 through March 11, 2027. Application status: this position will remain open until December 31, 2026.

What you’ll do

• Install and configure POS hardware and software components to ensure systems are operational and meet user needs.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, providing technical support as the first point of contact for IT-related problems.
• Complete regular maintenance including system backups, updates, and upgrades to support performance and security.
• Train users on new systems and software so staff can use technology effectively in their roles.
• Maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and cabling.
• Implement and manage security measures, including antivirus software and firewalls, to protect data and systems.

What you bring

• 2–3 years of experience in IT technical support or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms including Oracle for financial and operational processes.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise POS and payment tools including Square.
• Hands-on experience with FreedomPay for secure payment solutions and integrations.
• Strong understanding of payment workflows and transaction security.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance across multiple platforms.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Preferred: relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or vendor-specific POS certifications.
