IT Support Services I - Help Desk
Job Description
Courser is looking for an onsite IT Help Desk professional in San Diego, CA to provide reliable frontline support for employees and clients. In this role, you’ll handle day-to-day troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking, working phone, email, and ticketing requests to meet agreed-upon SLAs.

What you’ll do
- Provide frontline IT support by responding to technical issues submitted via phone, email, and ticketing systems within agreed-upon SLAs.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and hardware for both new and existing users.
- Manage user accounts, including new account setup, password resets, and permission management.
- Troubleshoot network problems, including Wi-Fi connectivity, VPN access, and network printer issues.
- Document solutions and troubleshooting steps for recurring issues and keep the knowledge base up to date.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems and networks to proactively identify potential issues and prevent disruptions.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed.
- Support IT projects, including system upgrades, software deployments, and network expansions.
- Follow security measures to protect the integrity of data and systems.
What you bring
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Networks, including firewall configuration and network configuration, workstation setup and installation, print management, and integrating cloud technology.
- Experience with network and endpoint security, TCP/IP protocols, Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell and the ability to support technical process and procedure documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude with exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within provided instructions, routines, and standard accepted practices.
- High School diploma or GED (required).

- $30 to $35 per hour (USD)

Preferred experience
