Job Description

Support on-site and across the Americas to keep IT systems running and help users adopt digital workplace tools.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver local IT support for the Aurora, Illinois Regional HQ, Production, and Warehouse site
  • Provide remote IT support for 6 offices and 1 Production/Warehouse site across the Americas Region
  • Own local site IT infrastructure and applications within the scope of the IT service role and coordinate with 2nd level support teams to resolve IT issues
  • Configure, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot PCs, mobile devices, label printers, hand scanners, IP cameras, and other IT equipment
  • Manage purchasing of IT consumables and supplies to ensure users have the equipment they need
  • Coordinate and manage external service providers when additional IT service delivery support is required
  • Support digital transformation by engaging users to understand needs, requests, and improvement opportunities
  • Participate in local, regional, and corporate IT projects as part of a larger team
  • Contribute to and maintain IT Infrastructure and user support documentation, and maintain an inventory system

Requirements

  • Associates or BS degree in IT or an IT-related field, Business Administration, or Business Informatics (or completed vocational training in IT preferred)
  • Previous IT work experience preferred
  • Proven working knowledge of PC hardware, printers, Microsoft software, and network administration
  • Certifications are a plus
  • Customer service and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues based on user requirements
  • Ability and desire to train and advise users on using digital workplace tools and applications effectively
  • Understanding of a harmonized enterprise IT landscape, including the impact of standardization and evaluating local versus global solutions
  • Ability to work with remote and cross-cultural teams via virtual collaboration; Spanish speaker is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
