Job Description

Datadog seeks a Technical Support Engineer 2, Premier in San Francisco, CA (hybrid) to assist Premier customers with technical questions, engage in calls and product demos, support side projects, and drive product conversations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle client requests via phone, chat, and tickets on a fast-moving Premier support team while helping customers maximize how they use the platform
  • Build and nurture relationships with Premier Customers, working closely to understand their unique environment
  • Reproduce issues and investigate Datadog's 600+ integrations
  • Create and expand documentation and knowledge-base articles across a range of technologies
  • Guide product conversations based on insights gathered from client interactions
  • Join regular health-check meetings with Premier Customers
  • Work from a Datadog office 3 to 5 days per week

Requirements

  • 2+ years of multi-channel technical support experience at a SaaS company
  • Some programming experience and a working knowledge of Linux
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning
  • Strong critical thinking with a client-centric mindset
  • Decisive but know when to escalate
  • Previous Premium or Enterprise technical support experience
  • Familiar with current infrastructure and monitoring technologies
  • Willing to work a rotating schedule including weekend availability
