TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE - PART-TIME

Part-time Technical Support Representatives are based onsite at Micro Center's Corporate Office in Hilliard, OH, delivering technical support and driving sales in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage large amounts of inbound contacts promptly via Phones, Chat, Text, and Email.
• Maintain a general understanding of current consumer electronic devices and technology.
• Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, qualify issues, and offer solutions.
• Personalize support to improve customer satisfaction.
• Accurately document all customer contacts and enter them into the appropriate database.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships to ensure teamwork.
• Meet personal/team goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; one year of experience in customer service or a related field preferred.
• Strong listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurate and efficient typing proficiency.
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing priorities.
• Flexible and adaptable when working with diverse customer needs and personalities.
• Passion for technology, including computers and electronics, is a definite plus.
