Technical Support Specialist II

The Technical Support Specialist II role at SolutionHealth focuses on Tier II desktop support for end users in Nashua, NH, with responsibilities spanning device deployment, application support, troubleshooting, and IT asset management. The position also participates in a rotating 7x24 on-call schedule with variable hours based on Health System needs.

Onsite Location and Work Shift

This role is based in Nashua, NH (onsite). The standard work shift is 8AM - 5PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Use a variety of tools and applications to diagnose and resolve complex technical and application issues, both in-person and remotely.
• Handle support requests through the ticketing system, including requests submitted via telephone, email, and in person.
• Analyze and resolve mildly complex technical problems affecting core applications and the hardware used across the SolutionHealth user community.
• Triaging issues and escalate more complex technical problems to Tier III or Tier IV support teams as needed.
• Install new desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices for the end user community on a daily basis.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and equipment records for the organization.
• Support a rotating 7X24 on-call schedule, with hours that may include nights and/or weekends, and possible off-hours work.
• Complete occasional local travel related to support needs.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Information Systems or a related field required.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience supporting PCs in a networked environment required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Systems or a related field preferred.
• Industry certifications such as Network+, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, etc. preferred.
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in a healthcare setting preferred.
