Technical Support Specialist - Parts & Mechanical Research (Day Shift)

In TVH Parts Co. and within the Technical Information Services group in Olathe, you will assist customers in pinpointing exact replacement parts for material handling, industrial, and construction equipment. This day-shift role sits in a fast-paced call center where precise research and clear communication drive accurate part identification and timely support.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify correct part numbers using manuals, technical publications, online resources, and internal databases.
• Respond to incoming calls and electronic inquiries about part numbers, pricing, availability, and technical specifications.
• Help customers troubleshoot moderately complex questions related to industrial equipment, aerial lifts, and sweepers/scrubbers.
• Navigate the ERP system and lookup tools to ensure fast, accurate service.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience; experience or strong interest in a high-volume call center environment is highly preferred.
• At least 2 years demonstrating strong research and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of parts identification, vehicle or machinery components, or a background tinkering with engines or equipment.
• Comfort learning and navigating corporate databases, software networks, and search engines.
