This on-site role in Chandler, AZ supports day-to-day technology needs across hardware, software, networking, and desktop environments.
IT Support Technician I answers and troubleshoots user issues, installs and configures server and client workstations, maintains IT ticket documentation, and supports users through training on software and hardware. If you enjoy solving practical problems and providing a welcoming experience, this role combines technical support with guest-facing service.
What you’ll do
- Promote and provide excellent guest service experiences for both internal and external guests.
- Receive and respond to assistance requests via telephone, voicemail, email, and in-person interactions, including troubleshooting for hardware, software, networking, password resets, and minor desktop, printing, or phone issues.
- Log and track requests using the IT ticketing system, maintaining history records and related problem documentation.
- Install, configure, and support server and client workstations.
- Train users on software and hardware.
- Maintain a dependable attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
- Complete other special projects and duties as assigned.
What we need from you
- Education: HS Diploma/GED or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related major preferred.
- Support experience: Experience and/or training in technical support required.
- Driver’s requirements: Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past five (5) years; MVR required at the time of application.
- Guest service mindset: Ability to perform the GILA WAY: Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guest, Listen actively to our guest, Appreciate our guest.
- Communication: Excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
- Work style: Self-starter with the ability to follow up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
- Compliance: Pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and agree to maintain a Drug-Free Workplace as a condition of employment.
- Background: Pass a full background check for certification/licensing prior to employment.
- Work environment: Ability to work in a smoking environment.
Pay and location
Compensation: USD 22 per hour.
Location: Chandler, AZ (onsite).
