Electrical Technical Support Specialist

The Electrical Technical Support Specialist role at SJE Rhombus, based in Detroit Lakes, MN, provides phone and email assistance for electrical control panels, handles orders, bills of materials, and electrical schematics, and maintains customer records. This position also serves as the service contact for Controls and Level-Sensing Technology products.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers by phone or email regarding electrical control panels.
• Process orders accurately and prepare Bills of Materials and electrical schematic drawings.
• Maintain customer communications and case history using incident tracking software, and generate reports as requested.
• Act as the service contact for our Controls and Level-Sensing Technology products.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of product offerings.
• Technical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computers and software required to perform duties.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical is preferred but not required.
• Experience building control panels or electrical components.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently as needed.

• PTO and holidays: Up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in the first year plus 8 paid holidays.
• Starting wage: USD 21.00 - USD 24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
