Help Desk Customer Service Representative (LTE - Multiple Vacancies)
Job Description
This Limited Term Employment Help Desk role provides user and business process support for the WisVote system. The position is based onsite in Madison, Wisconsin, and runs from June through November.
Responsibilities
- Generate logon IDs and passwords for WisVote users.
- Respond to Help Desk calls and inquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting users or processes.
- Record and monitor interactions in the help center log.
- Reset user passwords as needed.
- Route or escalate issues to the appropriate staff.
Requirements
- Background in information systems through education, training or practical experience with system methodologies, tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience delivering hardware, software and application support to diverse users.
- Experience providing customer service in an office environment as the first point of contact.
- Experience providing administrative and program support to management, including tasks such as data entry, drafting general correspondence, and proofreading documents.
