Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch technical support to end-users via phone, email, and self-service requests
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, communicating effectively with end-users to understand equipment problems and propose solutions
- Set up, configure, and test computer equipment and peripherals
- Maintain detailed records of customer issues, tracking each case through to resolution
- Assist in software and hardware updates
- Perform PC Moves/Adds/Changes as needed
Requirements
- Possess strong hardware and software knowledge
- Be proficient in Windows operating systems (Windows 10, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Exchange/Outlook
- Have experience diagnosing PC hardware problems
- Be able to perform basic network functions
- Conduct computer remedial and preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate and complete records of customer calls and resolutions
- Stay current with technical knowledge of relevant products and support policies
- Have 1 year of experience working in a help desk environment, resolving computer hardware and software-related issues
