Job Description

Entry-level Help Desk Technician role in Hopkinton, MA (onsite) at Weston Nurseries, delivering first-level IT support across retail stores, greenhouse operations, landscaping teams, and corporate offices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and business applications
  • Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, and user account issues
  • Deploy and configure new hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Assist with password resets, account access, and multi-factor authentication
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and asset assignments
  • Support IT projects, system upgrades, and day-to-day operational needs
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels of the company

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
  • Understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and basic networking concepts
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
