In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part Time)
Job Description
Asurion Insurance Services is seeking a part-time in-home sales and tech support specialist in Midland, TX. This on-site role requires daily travel to customer residences and focuses on solving tech issues while guiding customers through tailored product solutions. The position offers $21 per hour, with paid training, ongoing coaching, and pre-scheduled customer visits.
Responsibilities
- Initial paid training will prepare you to operate independently in the field.
- Gain product knowledge and hands-on sales experience while developing communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ongoing coaching and mentoring support your growth and keep you confident and tech-savvy.
- Meet customers in their homes, in offices, or at other locations.
- Pre-scheduled customer interactions by Asurion provide opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Deliver excellent customer service from start to finish, keeping the customer first.
- Use your expertise to diagnose and resolve tech issues, offering easy-to-understand solutions for all levels of tech knowledge.
- Ensure customers leave with a working resolution and a product that supports future tech needs.
- Leverage Asurion's expanding product lineup to tailor solutions for customers.
- Listen actively to identify needs and position products to meet those needs.
- Apply strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and close the right sale.
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with defined targets.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan is excluded).
- Personal vehicle (no motorcycles) used for customer appointments around the inventory warehouse area; travel up to 120 miles one-way.
- Available for a varied five-day week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
- Open-minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
- Naturally outgoing and energized by human interaction.

- Base hourly rate guaranteed for all hours worked, paid bi-weekly; earned pay can be accessed early.
