IT/Desktop Support Tech I

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Desktop Support Tech I to maintain, analyze, install, and resolve first-level desktop computer and computing appliance issues for organization end-users. If you enjoy troubleshooting hardware and software problems and providing clear diagnostic support, this role keeps you close to the people and technology that keep daily operations moving.

What you’ll do

• Maintain, analyze, install, and resolve first-level desktop computer and computing appliance issues for end-users
• Answer questions and provide advice for end-users
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting procedures

What we require

• 1 year of job-related experience
• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid state driver license
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years of licensed driving experience
• Provide a 7-year driving record from the DMV prior to employment
• No more than 2 minor violations in the past 3 years and 0 major violations in the past 5 years
• Personal vehicle use is required

Preferred

• Associate Degree in a related field

Driving and vehicle reimbursement details

This position requires a valid state driver license and meets the age and licensed driving experience criteria noted above. You must provide a DMV driving record prior to employment and meet the stated violation limits.

Use of personal vehicles is required. The vehicle owner is responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage for the personal vehicle used for duties as an employee. Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare will reimburse business use of a personal vehicle in accordance with Internal Revenue Service procedures. Your personal vehicle will be used to provide service to fellow colleagues of TMH and not to paying customers.
