Job Description

Business Staffing Solution presents the IT Help Desk Support role in San Juan, offering a hybrid work arrangement that blends on-site collaboration with remote assistance. The position centers on first-line technical support, user account management, and timely issue resolution for end users, utilizing tools such as Active Directory, ServiceNow, and remote support utilities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver first-line technical support for software and desktop-related issues, responding to user requests in a timely manner.
  • Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, passwords, and access rights using Active Directory.
  • Use remote support tools to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
  • Provide desktop support, including system setup, configuration, and basic hardware/software installation.
  • Track, update, and resolve support tickets using ServiceNow to ensure issues are properly documented and closed on time.
  • Communicate clearly with users to understand issues and guide them through solutions.
  • Work closely with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical incidents.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and known solutions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
  • Strong skills in software troubleshooting and desktop support.
  • Hands-on experience with remote access tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Remote Desktop, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of computer networking concepts and IT best practices.
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
