IT Help Desk Technician
Job Description
Join Murgado Automotive Group in an on-site IT Help Desk role in Richmond, VA. You will provide first-line IT support to users at two Virginia locations, Mercedes-Benz of Richmond and Mercedes-Benz of Midlothian, while helping to resolve technical issues and improve IT systems. This position emphasizes a collaborative culture, clear growth paths, and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Compensation: $25-$35 per hour. On-site in Richmond, VA, supporting Mercedes-Benz of Richmond and Mercedes-Benz of Midlothian.

Responsibilities
- Act as the initial contact for technical support via phone, email, and the ticketing system
- Provide remote assistance using RMM tools, including ConnectWise Automate
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, and printers
- Escalate unresolved problems to senior IT staff as needed
- Deliver accurate information about IT services and products
- Suggest improvements to IT procedures and user experience
- Document support issues, resolutions, and feedback clearly
- Occasionally participate in after-hours support, project rollouts, or upgrades
- Communicate clearly in English; additional languages are a plus
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP are a plus
- Pursuing or holding a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus
