Job Description

Hybrid role in Issaquah, WA focused on building and supporting reliable real-time mapping and edge image processing solutions across a full application stack.

Responsibilities

  • Build, debug, and support real-time actionable mapping solutions with high reliability, performance, and innovation
  • Support real-time in-field image edge processing
  • Design, implement, and deploy front-end elements, REST-based back-end services, and database design schemas across TerraClear’s application stack
  • Collaborate with Product Management and the Software Engineering team to review functionality requirements and interface design
  • Keep applications current with major third-party dependency releases and current design and implementation practices
  • Work in an Agile environment to prioritize tasks and deliver technical milestones on schedule

Requirements

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a commercial product environment
  • BS or MS in Software Engineering, CS (or related field), or commensurate work experience
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals
  • Knowledge of how to leverage GenAI tools to accelerate design, development, and debugging of commercial-quality software
  • Knowledge of REST-based backend services
  • Knowledge of Node.js and Angular/React with TypeScript
  • Knowledge of MVC architecture
  • Strong communication, a positive attitude, and excellent teamwork
  • Willingness to travel to field offices and testing areas
