The System Support Analyst role at G&C Foods (G & C Food Distributors) provides day-to-day computer systems support, desktop/workstation administration, user access management, and first-line technical assistance to maintain reliable IT operations.

Job Summary
G&C Foods seeks a System Support Analyst to support critical business operations across the company. This is a hands-on, high-visibility position with direct impact on users and business performance. You will interact with associates and customers to resolve technical system issues while gaining familiarity with configuring, supporting, and using a range of technical systems. Responsibilities include workstation technical support and related tasks as part of the IT team.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day management and support of computer systems by investigating and resolving technical issues, including critical incidents, using available IT resources.
- Deliver desktop and workstation support by deploying, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining PCs, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and software in existing environments.
- Administer user accounts, groups, permissions, and access within Microsoft 365 and Active Directory/Entra, ensuring proper access controls and security.
- Install, configure, test, and support new hardware, software, tools, and technologies while evaluating interoperability, system impact, and software licensing compliance.
- Perform system administration tasks such as performance audits, software updates, configuration changes, and identify opportunities to standardize processes and automate routine tasks.
- Provide first-line technical support and training to associates, answer questions, research complex issues, and ensure users can effectively utilize technology and business applications.
- Collaborate with the IT team to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while delivering timely support to associates and customers.
- Maintain the security and integrity of computer systems by following established policies, configuring systems appropriately, and taking proactive measures to prevent unauthorized access.
- Participate in after-hours support by responding to operational issues and on-call requests as needed.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical support role is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra, and general desktop troubleshooting.
- Associate's degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience preferred.
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Intune, Action1, or other endpoint management tools.
- Exposure to ERP or warehouse/distribution systems, especially NCR and Power Enterprise.
- Experience supporting Zebra handheld devices and related programming or configuration.
