Job Description

On-site Tech Support R&D assignment in Raleigh, NC for four months with ComTec Consultants Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and provide technical support to users for hardware and software related problems
  • Install, troubleshoot, and support Windows 11, MacOS, and the MS Office 365 suite
  • Troubleshoot iPhone and Android OS related issues
  • Support printers, AV equipment, and conference rooms at the office
  • Utilize Jira and ServiceNow for ticketing and issue tracking
  • Monitor and respond to requests submitted through the help desk
  • Perform break-fix support for laptops and docks/peripherals in a timely manner
  • Manage and maintain office hardware inventory

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an IT technician
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of issues across Windows, networking, MS Office, Mac, iPhone, and Android OS
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills
  • Approachable and capable of clear communication with colleagues and senior management
  • Ability to provide verbal and written technical assistance to end users with patience
  • Team player with effective communication
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; computing degree is required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a IT technician role

Compensation

Pay: USD 30.00 - 34.00 per hour
