Job Description
ScaledData Health is hiring a Technical Support professional to deliver on-site assistance in Medford, Oregon. In this role, you will support end-user technology, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help keep endpoint systems secure, stable, and performing reliably.
The position focuses on comprehensive client-side support, including connectivity and mobile devices, plus ongoing maintenance and upgrades across Windows-based endpoints, thin clients, and associated software and management tools.
What You’ll Do
- Provide frontline troubleshooting for hardware and software problems affecting PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, and biomed attached devices.
- Investigate and resolve end-user issues that impact business operations, including under demanding timelines.
- Support client-side technology, including faxing, telephony, wireless and wired connectivity, and mobile devices such as tablets, laptops, and smartphones.
- Consult with users to determine steps and procedures to identify and resolve technical problems.
- Guide users through diagnostics using diagnostic tools and software or by delivering verbal instructions.
- Coordinate with vendors for repair or replacement of defective products, including printer leasing companies, biomed vendors, and software vendors.
- Support, maintain, and upgrade Windows, Thin Clients, and operating systems used on endpoint devices.
- Support endpoint software, MDM solutions, and SaaS applications.
- Support application delivery, updates, and security for end point devices.
- Troubleshoot and restore functionality for computing endpoints and related end-user technology.
- Monitor and test device performance, then provide statistics and reporting on device health.
- Maintain documentation, including specifications and diagrams.
- Manage the endpoint lifecycle from procurement through disposal.
- Create and deliver standard workstation and device images.
- Manage device catalogs in CMDB and asset management systems.
- Support new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree (required).
- 3+ years of technical support experience.
- Proficiency supporting PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, operating systems, and biomed attached devices.
- Experience with Windows updates and dependent software for updates and backups.
- Knowledge of security principles related to data and system security.
- Experience troubleshooting with tools such as Wireshark and other support software.
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems, Thin Clients, and mobile devices.
- Basic understanding of networks, network topology, and network management.
- General understanding of servers, storage, firewalls, and interoperability systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under challenging timelines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to support Technical Administrative staff with systems and solutions.

Salary: USD 42,000 - 62,000 per year
