Job Description
Inventure IT offers a dynamic, collaborative culture in Savannah, GA, with professional development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. This onsite Technical Support Engineer role includes after-hours on-call support and weekly pay based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt technical support to clients by phone, email, ticketing system, or in-person visits, addressing a broad range of IT issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system problems.
- Partner with clients to understand their technical needs and deliver practical solutions.
- Monitor and maintain client systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Execute upgrades, installations, and configurations as required.
- Support email system administration, including migrations to Office 365.
- Oversee and troubleshoot Active Directory, Exchange, Google Workspace, and Office 365.
- Apply extensive experience with Windows operating systems, including Server editions, and server migrations.
- Work with enterprise-grade networking equipment from Sonicwall, Fortigate, Unifi, and Cisco.
- Coordinate with teammates to design and deploy IT solutions.
- Join an on-call rotation to deliver after-hours support as necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology or technical support roles
- Extensive knowledge with Windows operating systems, including Server versions
- Background in working with Sonicwall, Unifi, Fortigate, Cisco, or other commercial-grade networking equipment
- Experience in Exchange, Google Workspace, Office 365, and Active Directory administration
- Proven experience in migrating clients from existing email systems to Office 365
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A customer-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
